I was desperately in need of a handmade new baby card, "pronto"! And I had no cards available in my card collection for a baby boy. Arrghhhh! So I immediately thought of those fancy new baby stickers I bought recently that was bought for this type of situations when I can use them for making quick handmade cards! Thank God for these stickers! Seriously! :D

This card was made especially for a dear friend of mine who just gave birth to a cute little baby boy. I haven't had the chance to meet the cutie pie yet but soon I will, real soon! ;)

Because the front design of the card was a little too simple, I thought of complicating it by making a pop up for it, LOL! :D Nothing too fancy though....just a simple one.....so, I just made a simple square pop up and pasted more fancy stickers inside it. I especially love the part where I made the cute litte blue baby pajamas stand up like that. LOVE IT!

It's a girl! It's a girl! A cute little baby girl sleeping in that sweet soft pink cloth...hehehe. ;)

This is the exact same design and layout like yesterday's new baby boy card design except that I simply changed the color combination. My Mom seem to love this one better just because of the colors, but I love them both hehehe. :)

I had fun making this new baby cards.....so much so that I made a few of them last night for sale....and also for my own use. ;)

A cute purple and blue theme new baby card for a cute baby boy. :) This is a request I got from my Mom.....she wants to give it to her best friend who's daughter just delivered a baby boy. She asked me to make a simple one like I did before but I wanted to make it a little different this time around.

It's nice to once in a while move away from the quilling technique and try making cards with my old style of card making hehe. I haven't made cards like this in such a long time. I miss doing those stripes on my cards hehehe! 

But I couldn't help but put one quilling element on the card. Can you see it?? Yup! It's the baby's hair hahaha! I made it using a 1mm black paper strip that I cut by hand. I plan to make another one for a baby girl.....using the same design but with a different color combination. Will publish it here soon! :)

NB007 - BABY GIRL

NB006 - BABY BOY 

I got orders from my Mom to make these two new baby cards today. She said...."Lina....you just make a simple design as quick as you can...and you got two hours to do so! I'm going to a aqiqah kenduri later and I need those cards....so by hook or by crook you got to get them done ok!" . YIKES!!!! Luckily I have some printed wordings for baby cards which I have been keeping for quite some time now. I do have plans on making baby cards with them but till now have not been able to do so because I have been so busy keeping up with the other orders. So I guess today, the time finally came for me to do it! LOL!

Honestly I've always wanted to do a baby card with a baby sleeping in a cloth like one of those kind the stork would carry in his beak hihihihi.. :) But I didn't make any stork here.....I didn't have the time to do it. Maybe next time I would include it.  :) I didn't have much idea, and since time was quite limited....so I just "hentam sajalah" or shall I say..."I just do what I can anyway I know how"....and I tried my level best to make it look as sweet as possible. Sweet and simple! :)
